Thanks to a $10,000 award from the 10th Mountain Foundation , Tactical Alpinism is launching a multi-year initiative to support active-duty, veteran, and descendant mountain professionals through technical mentorship.

This program funds:

  • Mentorship Meetups (ski, ice, alpine, or rock)

  • One-on-one or small-team mentorship days

  • Skill progression leading toward AMGA/IFMGA certifications

  • Military-to-mountain transitions for aspiring guides

It does not fund course tuition—but it does support the professional development needed to reach those courses.
